I've been working on some larger drawings, and even painting with acrylics. I'll post them as I finish, but calling it quits and saying a drawing is "done" is not an easy task :D
We had the assignment of finding a still life to draw, without setting one up. This is somewhat a strange or rather abstract setting to draw, but I fell in love with all of the texture and wanted to replicate it, as best I could. The setting is my "Commuter Lunch", here at FPU.
The drawing was created with a charcoal stick, and some texture on the straps was done with a charcoal pencil. I really enjoy just using charcoal sticks though. They provide great texture and are very versatile, without leaving lines or indents like pencils usually do.
